Dr. Nagy is a frequent author on the subject of back pain and has participated in several research programs about spine and brain injuries. He was the first neurosurgeon in Nevada to place an artificial cervical disc in a patient and his deep brain stimulation procedures for Parkinson’s patients are well-regarded. He has served in the White House Medical Corps as a neurosurgeon and is a member of the Southern Nevada Medical Reserve Corps as well as the Clark County Medical Society.
In 2012,2013,2014 and 2017, he was named a “Top Doctor” in Southern Nevada with the highest ranking possible among neurosurgeons. In 2009, he was named one of the top “40 Under 40” business people under the age of 40 by In Business Las Vegas. In 2010, Nevada Business magazine named him among the state’s “Top Business Leaders Under 40.”
Dr. Nagy is a founding board member for the Yale Club of Nevada. He has served as the organization’s secretary since 2009 and is its incoming president for 2013. He also served on the board of directors for First Security Bank of Nevada from 2007-2011 and has been involved in numerous medical and community organizations.
